Facets

What are facets?

Veneers are thin porcelain shells that are custom-made and placed on the front surface of teeth. They correct defects and imperfections and give a smile a natural and aesthetic appearance.

When are veneers used?
  1. with minimal defects and flaws in the teeth
  2. for correcting mild orthodontic anomalies
  3. to achieve a brighter and more harmonious smile
What are the advantages of veneers?
  1. Minimal filing (0.2–0.5 mm) of the tooth surface
  2. Porcelain imitates natural enamel and is durable over time.
  3. The material does not stain, unlike composites
  4. Extremely thin structure
  5. The patient participates in choosing the color and shape of the smile
How does veneer treatment work?
  1. Photo documentation and scanning of teeth with an intraoral scanner
  2. Discussing the desired “ideal smile”
  3. Digital design and visualization of the result
  4. Clarification of the length, color and shape of the teeth
  5. Minimally invasive preparation
  6. Scan and send to the lab
  7. Making a temporary structure for shaping the gums
  8. Fixing the final veneers

Crowns and bridges

What are dental crowns and bridges?

Dental crowns and bridges are prosthetic structures that restore the shape, function, and aesthetics of teeth. A crown covers a single tooth, while a bridge replaces a missing tooth by supporting adjacent teeth.

When is a dental crown placed?

A dental crown is placed when the tooth is:

  1. Seriously destroyed by caries
  2. Damaged after trauma
  3. Deleted due to excessive load
Why is it necessary to place a crown?

The crown:

  1. Restores the natural appearance and function of the tooth
  2. Protects against further breakage
  3. Makes the tooth resistant to chewing load
  4. Preserves the color and aesthetics of the smile
How are crowns and bridges made?

The manufacturing is done with high precision and attention to detail. The goal is to combine strength, durability and natural aesthetics so that the restored tooth looks and functions like your own.

Whitening

What is teeth whitening?

Teeth whitening is an aesthetic procedure that gives a smile a brighter and more radiant appearance. It can be done professionally in a clinic or at home with custom aligners.

Professional clinical whitening

How does the whitening procedure work in the clinic?
  1. The patient is seated comfortably, with relaxing music or a movie playing if desired.
  2. The teeth are isolated with a special gingival barrier.
  3. A whitening agent activated with LED light is applied.
  4. The procedure lasts about 10 minutes and is repeated 2–4 times depending on the desired result.
  5. At the end, instructions are given for maintaining the effect.
What teeth are suitable for whitening?

The Beyond Professional System is effective in most patients, especially for yellowing from smoking, coffee, or tea.

How long does the effect last?

Typically, the result lasts between 2 and 5 years, depending on the patient’s care and habits.

Is whitening with the Beyond system safe?

Yes. The procedure is safe because the lamp works with cold light at a low temperature.

Home whitening

Home whitening can be preferred as an individual method   or to enhance and maintain results after professional in-office whitening.

How does the procedure work when choosing home whitening?
  1. The dentist scans the teeth or takes an impression.
  2. Individual splints are made.
  3. The patient receives instructions for proper use and storage.
When are splints worn?
  1. during sleep
  2. or during the day – depending on the chosen whitening agent
When are the results visible?
  1. first effect after the first procedure
  2. maximum results – usually after about 10 days
